Cheryl Cole voted UK’’s number one style icon

Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole is Britain’s number one style icon, according to a new magazine poll.

With groomed girl next-door looks, the petite popstar has beaten the likes of Victoria Beckham and Sarah Jessica Parker to land the crown.

Standing second in the list is of Coleen McLoughlin, the wife of Manchester United F.C. and England football star Wayne Rooney, reports The Sun.

The recently single Jennifer Aniston took the third spot in the poll, reports The Sun.

Victoria Beckham and Sarah Jessica Parker rounded off the top five.
