Britney’s mom wants biopic on daughter

London, Oct 15 (IANS) Pop star Britney Spears’ mother Lynne is in talks with Hollywood studios to turn her controversial book about her singer daughter into a movie.

Titled “Through the Storm”, the book charts Britney’s troubles with drinks, drugs and teenage sex and Lynne feels a movie version would be a box office hit, reports thesun.co.uk.

According to reports, “Scary Movie” star Anna Faris is being lined up to play Britney and Lynne has Julia Roberts in mind to play her part.

“She’s pitching the book around to studios. She even says she wants Julia Roberts to play her. It’s insane,” said a source close to Lynne.
