Indian flag upside down at Mohali stadium

Mohali (Punjab), Oct 17 (IANS) The Indian flag was seen fluttering upside down when the second test match between India and Australia began at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) stadium here Friday.

The flag was hung upside down on top of the north pavilion block of the magnificent PCA stadium. While the green strip of the tricolour was on top, the saffron was at the bottom.

After the mistake was pointed out, PCA officials asked curator Daljeet Singh to remove the flag. After 30 minutes, it was raised again properly.
