BJP to go direct to Dalits, to expose Mayawati ‘misdeeds’

Lucknow, Nov 3 (IANS) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch a state-wide campaign among Dalits to apprise them of the alleged misdeeds of Cbhief Minister Mayawati and her government, an official said Monday.

“Issues like wastage of public money, corruption and other misdeeds of the Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati would be taken up during the campaign,” state BJP spokesman H.N. Dixit told reporters here Monday.

The campaign will start withion a week across the state, he added.

Dixit alleged that the BSP was concerned only for a particular caste (chamar) within the Dalit community while members of the other sub-castes like Koris, Pasis, Dhanuks and others were being completely ignored.
