Grenade attack in Srinagar injures three troopers

Srinagar, Nov 3 (IANS) Three troopers of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured Monday in a grenade attack in this Jammu and Kashmir summer capital.
Separatist guerrillas hurled a grenade at a CRPF patrol party in the Chanapora locality, six kilometres from the city centre Lal Chowk, police said.
“Three CRPF troopers sustained splinter injuries in the attack and they have been evacuated to the hospital,” a police officer told IANS.
