Elton John to tour with Billy Joel

London, Nov 12 (IANS) English pop/rock singer, composer and pianist Sir Elton John is to tour with American rock musician and singer-songwriter Billy Joel.

“It’s two for the price of one. Our ticket prices are the same as anyone else’s, but there’s two of us. In this day and age, we hope to be getting people value for their money,” said John to a US TV show.

He added: “Billy and I will be going for at least two years on and off all over the world. I’ve looked forward to it for a long time. We haven’t done it for a while.”

The pair had toured together earlier four times in a number of tours called “Face To Face” with their last performance together in 2002.

According to mirror.co.uk, the worldwide tour is set to begin in March next year.
