Kanpur, Nov 20 (IANS) India defeated England by 16 runs through the Duckworth-Lewis method in the third One-day International to take a 3-0 lead in the seven-match Hero Honda cup here Thursday.
Chasing 241 in 49 overs, India were 198 for five in 40 overs with skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni batting on 29 and Yusuf Pathan 12 when poor light stopped play. India were awarded the match as they were ahead by 16 runs in the Duckworth-Lewis charts.
