Former Chhattisgarh chief minister and Congress leader Ajit Jogi was unhurt Thursday when some people stoned his convoy in Bilaspur district where he is contesting assembly elections.
Police said the attack took place in village Girbar after he halted at a polling station along with dozens of supporters. Voting was in progress there.
“It was a minor incident and Jogi escaped unhurt. No arrest has been made but Jogi’s security has been tightened,” a police source told IANS.
