‘Happy Together’ record firm sues Ford

London, Nov 22 (IANS) The record company that owns the “Happy Together” song is suing the Ford motor company for using it in a commercial.
According to tmz.com, the song was released in 1967 by a band The Turtles. Ford decided to use the words and the music of the song in Brazil and Argentina. But the owner claims that the company violated the rights of the Turtles.
The suit is for an estimated $200,000 in damages.
